Releasing Negative Emotions

The Importance Of Releasing Negative Emotionshow to release negative emotions

For many of us living in this busy world, we often do not take time out to listen to our feelings.

In turn we become emotionally overwhelmed leaving us disturbed and uncomfortable in our bodies due to the pressure that builds when we do not acknowledge our self.

Today I have a short audio process on how to release your negative emotions more effectively.

This process will assist you in releasing emotional distress and facilitate reconnecting to your heart to feel good.

You will connect more deeply to your emotional sensitivity to process feelings that may be causing you discomfort.

It is vital to recognise your emotions, particularly when overwhelmed, so you can release them and come back into balance through acceptance of what is.

This practice that can be done any time you need more support to identify what you are feeling particularly if you are distressed.

When you give space to feeling unconditionally you will heal.

Your body will relax and let go returning to balance and flow placing you back in touch with peace and happiness.

Essentially you are allowing yourself to feel good again.

Feeling is essential to life.  If you ignore your feelings, dis-ease will result.

Remember to feel is to flow.  Feeling also opens you so you can give and receive love.

Without feeling, love cannot be experienced.  I am sure you would enjoy more love in your life.

Emotions can also be felt along with sensations in the body, warmth, cold, pain in areas of the body, tingling etc.

It is all part of the intelligence of the body giving you signals that you may be holding feelings and when you release that a strong movement of energy comes with it, hence extra sensations.  Allow them all to just be.

Trust that feeling emotions is safe and no matter what you feel in your body it is healthy to let go and be with whatever arises, unconditionally just as it is.

To get more in tune with what you are feeling emotionally before we begin our process take a look at the list of negative emotions I have provided here to see if any resonate for you personally.  You can also refer to this list over time and work with new emotions as they arise.  This list is in support of really identifying more clearly with what you are feeling.  You can then take this awareness into the process you will do to release this emotion.

Also be aware if these emotions were triggered by a specific event, or situation or person.

Knowing where our reactions start, it can help us to learn how to support ourselves better in the future.

Feelings are powerful.

In all its forms, is healthy to cry, so let if flow if it comes, to feel sad, feel pain, feel fear, all which can be challenging to let in.

Remember though you are always safe as emotions are just “energy in motion”, no emotion has the power to take a physical life, remember that when your fear comes, it is just a sensation, feeling, and you can let go and let it flow.

You are safe.  To feel is to heal.  Let this be your mantra for helping yourself through challenging emotions.

At the end of this process it can be helpful to write down what you felt.  Do so without judgement.

Just feel the relief that comes with letting go and you will feel empowered, connected and able to understand yourself more deeply giving you further clarity in your life.

Write down any clarity you may receive around feeling your emotions.

If you write it down you can go back and reflect upon your emotional growth over time, and realise just how far you might have come on your journey.

Most of all be willing to be unconditional with yourself right now.  I am willing to feel my emotions whole heartedly in love and support of myself.
